This group is for images you make where some part of a modern day scene is overlapped by an old photograph. For example, you hold up an old photo so that you can see its place in the modern context.
The photography version of Richard McGuire’s classic comic, “Here.”

@futuristicplans wanted “a picture of Teddy Roosevelt and a bear exchanging Christmas presents!”. Apologise for the bear’s fur, I was trying something and clearly failed :)

Space Photo of the Day: On Novermber 14, 1984, NASA astronaut Dale Gardner strapped on his Manned Maneuvering Unit, stepped off the Space Shuttle Discovery, and proceeded to float fifty meters away, untethered, through the vast emptiness of space, to retrieve a wayward satellite which needed to be hauled back to earth.
Like a space-boss.

While he was fighting in the Pacific during World War II, my granddad drew this Christmas card for my mom’s older siblings (my mom wasn’t born til much later). “Merry XMas to Shirley, Buddy & Judy From Sad-Sac & Daddy” You can see “By: Ray Sellers” in Sad-Sack’s bag.
This is officially the coolest thing I’m ever going to post here.
